Dear Reiki Souls and friends,
I’m Enikő from Romania (Europe) and together with my husband, Eugen, we had the chance and the honor to participate at three Reiki meetings in Japan and one in Madrid with Hiroshi Doi sensei. Every meeting, seminar and International Koryukai with Doi Sensei were special occasions that offer energetic nourishment for the body and gifts for the soul.
We have met Doi sensei in 2015, in Japan, when we had the honor to participate in the Reiki seminar with a group of Japanese students. Was one of the most beautiful Reiki experiences: we learned how to „feel” Reiki beyond words. Until this date we considered that „know” Reiki is important, but, our mind being tired from traveling, we discovered what it is like to „feel” and to “be” Reiki. We are grateful for the knowledge we received, but especially for the Reiki wisdom transmitted by Doi sensei.
Also in 2015, we participated in the international meeting of Gendai Reiki Ho masters from Madrid, and Doi sensei shared his experience, introduced his family and teached us traditional Japanese exercises. We were from different corners of the world, we spoke different languages, but all differences disappeared as we practicing Reiki together. So we had three wonderful days with Reiki, we learned new things, we had fun and we made new friends.
Then, September 23, 2018 became an important moment in the history of Reiki, with the unveiling of the commemorative monument at the birthplace of Mikao Usui sensei. The event in Taniai, Japan, was the initiative of Hiroshi Doi sensei and Gendai Reiki groups, and brought together over 120 Reiki practitioners from several countries. We participate at this unique and festive event, and at Doi sensei’s Reiki seminar together with other 16 Reiki masters from Romania. Doi sensei touch again our Soul, we made new Reiki friends and keeping this moment in our hearts, we can remind ourselves to live our lives in Love and Harmony.
Each time we met Doi sensei it was special occasion, so we would like to go back in 2020, but we cannot travel. Because we also like the Japanese philosophy of life and people, Japan offers deep and delightful experience, in 2023 we organize a Reiki Koryukai with Rika Saruhashi sensei in Brasov (Romania). It was a heartwarming experience. We kept her words in our mind and her experience in our heart. We resonate very deep with her understanding of the fulfillment and the importance of finding our mission in life. Reflect on our life mission and work toward mission accomplishment using Reiki, and work with Reiki to create a stable peaceful state of mind.
In 2024 we were 10 persons from Romania with the wish to meet Doi sensei and to practice Reiki together with Japanese Reiki students. Only a few of us can go to Japan, but in our hearts we represented and carried the message of over 100 Reiki practitioners from Romania. The Gendai Reiki Network from Japan welcomed us. Thanks to Doi sensei that he accepts to meet with us, to GRN Japan and Mr. Maruno for organizing the event, to Mrs. Fumi for translation, to Mrs. Junko for her help and to all Japanese Reiki colleagues for their open hearts. At the meeting we felt as if we had arrived „home, to the family of similar souls”, like a return to a place of peace and joy, we felt the connection from heart to heart. Was a wonderful atmosphere of joy of giving and receiving Reiki, in which the purpose of Reiki, that of finding the path to balance, harmony and happiness, was fully felt. Practicing Reiki with colleagues from Japan, the experience of connection through Reiki, the perception of Reiki beyond words, and the experience of unity through Reiki will remain in our hearts.
We came back from Japan with beautiful experiences, with a lot of joy in our heart, and full of energy.
